The More...The Harder...

Tomorrow some of the grade 9's are off to Quebec, they still have to do homework well that way i guess we are equal...Lotz of work set out for this work.

Today in class we began to learn about another Microsoft Office Program called Microsoft Publisher. This program is used for print outs and webpages. This is quite a easy and more open program meaning its got choices for you to choose from. The part that's great is that you don't have to copy the template you can select it and play around it with creating your very own original template. You will find common tools such as text boxes, picture frames, clip art , word art etc. You can format any way you want, so the end result is an individual and unique layout.

The assignment we got today is to create a template for an ad which is to advertise any course in the school . You can make a flyer or you can ask the teacher for any other particular layout you want, and you might just be able to do it! That's all i ahve loadz of projects the summatives..hope i get evrything done in time!!

The Stock Market SHowdown!!

We began a business part in our BTT class.We are supposed to use our knowledge on everything we learned starting from Microsoft Office to Computer partss, Making website and Photoshop. Our teacher began by explaining to us the three kinds of businesses there are- sole proprietorship,partnership, and corporation. Then we took one point and were explained about it. The sole proprietorship is when one person starts up a business by themselves. Partnership is when two people and at time more start a business up. On the other hand a coporation is started up by a whole group of people who put an equal amount of money usually to make a business where they both can gain profits.

After these 3 important business ways, we were given an assignment with the use of stock markets. Our spending amount would be $100,000 and we have to invest on 5 companies, on their stock. We will be checking up and seeing whether we gained or lost any money. By the end of May we hand it in. Lets hope for the best!..maybe we can make a hefty amount or maybe not? question remains..
