Wiki/Wiki

Its...been long till i've written anything down mostly cause i was playing around with the different styles and features it offered in photoshop..But before we actually got a chance to do anything...Mr.Case had spoken to us about a wiki...
He made a community site...Its great fun to explore lots of features the wiki offers...there are posts....like blogs which we can use..forums we can go to and talk about things we don't understand or don't do...there is a sandbox..where you can practice your typing..and play around with fonts and emotions you can't save it there though..Forum is mainly used for subject related to btt topics discussed in class...theres also a chatroom which is just for fun...but you can't say much in there cause its recorded and seen bye mr.case..thats all i've seen im going to explore more and tell you all later..of there's anything vital to know...

The more the merrier..

Well..like my title the more the merrier...the more you learn..the more you know...jokes apart...we were learning more about photoshop.
We mainly focused on pixels. This one piece of data on your computer image. If you look closely at a picture by zooming in you can see that there are many pixels, infact thousands..Each of these so called pixels have a code we know as a hexadecimal code.Changing the amount of pixels in your image changes your image little by little..depending how many times you change it.
There specific amounts of pixels that are suited for different roles. For example when you need to print a good amount of pixels would be 1800 by 1600. To post on the internet or to send to someone by attaching it to them 72 by 72 pixels.
This done because reducing the amount of pixels reduces the size of your image making it easier for you to do stuff.
Do keep one thing in mind though, it maybe neat but each time pixels are changed the less detailed your pictures become..so not that clear. Another important factor is that when you are increasing pixels from a small size image...your image will be blurry because the computer works with amount of pixels at present. Only codes are thought up by the computer to increase the pixels...since that was your command . Computer follows commands..they don't have their own opinions..they do what you say like a pet..
While..when it comes to decreasing the amount of pixels in your image..pixels that are not needed are thrown out!
Something else that we focused on was cropping.Which is when you take the part of the picture you want and make it the whole picture cutting out evrything else not selected..
As well as levels..these are things you can really enjoy playing with. You can change the levels of the colours red, green, blue...Doing this makes the image...bright and light or dull and dark. This edits the picture according your tastes..

The rules on pictures..

We started talking about photoshop elements and the rules about photo composition. These tips come in use if you are going to advertising or business..photoshop is the program mainly used.
There some important rules i would like to share with you all..

The first rule is The Rule Of Thirds. This used to make sure pictures are not in the middle. The horizon line can be two thirds..on the bottom or the top of the page.

The next rule i would like to share with you is about contrast..you place the object in baground that contains of contrastin colour...so the image stands out..another way to bring out interest is by blurring the baground..this helps people gain attention to what it is that you want them to see.

Lets talk to you about horizon lines...people usually tend to make it diaganol because if you make the focus straight ahead..your image or picture meets the eye faster..beacuse it shows something that you would usually look for straight ahead..horizontally or vertically...depending on the kind of picture you have..

Adobe Photoshop

Well in our last class before the weekend we learned about the hexadecimal system..it similar to the bianry code or the tens sytem..We use 16's here instead of 10's and 2's. With the 1 and 16 you can show the 255 different kinds of colours..that the computer can show.
As for the binary we use numbers and multiply by two.. it would be like: 1,2,4,8,16,32,64. Hexadecimal system we use 16. it would be 1,16,266 etc...
Since our computer screens produce 255 levels of colour red,gree,blue. 1,16 is used since 266 is one more than 255. Numbers can go upto 9 we use letters.
So in that case
A= 10
B=11
C=12
D=13
E=14
F=15
There are 255 different color combinations for the three colors only using two numbers and 6 letters.
Its the same as the binary as u decode binary you find out the kinds of colour in this case..
