Word Processor Details
Today in class we started off by doing the usual...blog or all the right type..later we had to face towards the projectore and we were told about all the different kinds of things that you find in Microsoft word. There were things I knew and things I never knew existed..
Mr. Case told us about two new things that you can do in this Program:
Docking- when you drag toolbars to the empty space
1) You can make your own toolbars: Tools-Customize-New Menu-Then you drag icons that you want.
2)In order to delete the arrows you go to: Tools-Customize-Options-Then you click on Menus show recently used commands first and gets rid off the arrow.
Now we have to do some exploring and find 10 things we did not know about and what they do.

1) Envelope: You go to Tools-Envelopes&Labels. you create an evelope if you need to send someone a letter by post...or you can make labels,just type the writing you want.
2) Theme: You go to Format-Theme. This is what you use for a webpage. It is a set of unified design elements,which maybe replaced or get rid off.
3) Split: You go to Windows-Split. This divides your window into two sections but contains the same information as the first one.So you have two identical windows with the same things.
4) Header and Footer: View-Header&Footer. This changes the text you have at the bottom and top of your page. Such as notes like, dates,authors,filenames etc.
5) Caption: Insert-Caption. This enables you to add captions for things such as tables, equations,figures etc.For ex: Table 1,Table 2 goes on depending on which caption you want..
6) Sort: Table-Sort. This arranges information alphabetically,numerically,or by date.
7) Comment: Insert-Comment. This you may use to correct something or let the person know about something they could add to or change..
8) Symbol: Insert-Symbol. This has special characters from fonts installed in the computer. As well as signs like the trademark sign.
9) Letter Wizard: Tools-LetterWizard. This helps you make letter quickly with the help of a wizard.
10) Object: Insert-Object. This inserts all kinds of objects to where ever you want it inserted. Such as Calenders, graphics of different programs like coreldraw and many more.
